Overview

This scheme of work explores the Christmas tradition of pantomime, introducing students to the stock characters and phrases. The students will learn to understand the importance of exaggerated body language, facial expressions and gestures, along with audience generated sound effects. The scheme culminates in the adaptation of a piece of text – Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves – into a pantomime.
