The Monkey King Scheme of Work
This scheme of work uses a number of different drama forms to explore the legend of The Monkey King, a popular story in Chinese culture and mythology. Students will learn how to choreograph movement and portray characters and spiritual concepts. It includes a number of musical pieces which can be used to provide atmosphere to the student's performances.
Each lesson plan has clearly stated objectives and learning outcomes. They are structured to include introductory warm up, development and plenary sessions. A homework task is also included.
